Within my previous roles I have supported women, men, children and young people. I have worked in crisis intervention organisations and in recent years, education services, providing therapeutic support through counselling and psychotherapy.

I have extensive experience in working with survivors of domestic abuse and sexual violence. I am experienced in working with adults – parents, foster carers, guardians, teaching staff in schools and survivors of abuse. I am experienced in working with children and young people – in schools, in refuges, looked after children, and survivors of abuse.

I have a wealth of experience of working with young people, nurturing them through difficult times in their life, guiding them, offering emotional and psychological support, empathy and understanding of their individual needs.

I feel privileged to be able to work therapeutically with adults and children supporting them to recognise and understand their feelings, manage their emotions, learn skills to self-regulate, and develop appropriate coping strategies so that they can begin to address the difficulties in their lives. I am passionate about working to improve the life chances of adults and children so that they can fulfil their potential. I am a warm, kind, empathic and caring therapist.
