I began my journey with Aspire in October 2020 as an Assistant Psychologist. Prior to this role I have supported children and parents who were in high conflict situations who needed support predominantly going through court proceedings and the supervision of contact. This role then led to supporting victims of domestic violence, ensuring they could reach out for assistance and encourage them to report incidents. This also involved advocating on the victim’s behalf to other professionals such as the police and social workers.  Alongside this role, I was involved in delivering a programme to children aged 5-12 years old around the importance of staying save.

In June 2022 my role at Aspire changed to Psychological Therapist as my interests in supporting young children within the care system developed. I wanted to ensure I could support them on their journey and to allow them to develop a sense of their own internal world. I provide a lot of emotional literacy work to our young people who access the service.

I am trained in the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS), Developmental Dyadic Psychotherapy (DDP) Level 1 and Level 2, Theraplay Level 1 and Group Theraplay and an introduction to the BUSS Model.

Interests: I enjoy going camping, reading, learning new things, and spending time with my family and friends.
